Here are my ideas so far, added to what you already put in...
Recipe So Far

I think that must be 1/2 glass oil, otherwise, I think you are right.
I agree about the 1/2 glass oil. Just below that, it looks like "4 lefele sode." A lefele is a teaspoon in Yiddish--could it be 4 teaspoons baking soda? (That seems like way too much, though.)
It looks like maybe that word just to the right of it is related "aylest"? That is a lot of baking soda.
"4 lefele soda" could be 4 spoons of seltzer. My mom, whose writing & recipes look just like these, uses "soda" for both baking soda or seltzer.
& the title is "??? torte",i.e.: some kind of cake
hi Brett, i think the last item is cocoa.
I think you are right, but what is the measurement?
title "mezes torte"= honey cake , last line 2 spoonsful cacao
You definitely got the name, and I think you are right that is a 2 not a 1, but I don't think it is spoonful. Maybe small?
2 kanal kakao = 2 spoons(ful) cocao kis, kicsi, keves small amt.
I see, kanal = spoon in Hungarian. Good one!
